"We deserve an Assemblymember who can unite our communities and deliver the resources we need and deserve. I’ll tackle the affordability crisis, bring good jobs to the area, and protect our air and water. In short, I’m running for Assembly because we deserve better.”

COST OF LIVING

Central NY families are being crushed by utility bills and rising costs. As our Assemblyman, Ian will work to help first-time homebuyers, support universal healthcare for all New Yorkers, hold utility companies accountable and bring down energy costs.

MONEY OUT OF POLITICS

A political system where corporations and the wealthy can dump millions of dollars into our elections has to end. Ian will never take a penny in corporate money or from billionaires, and in the Assembly, Ian will support transparency rules and disclosures so that we know exactly who is funding attack ads and dark money attacks on our democracy, no matter what party stands to benefit.

CLEAN LAKES

Central New York lakes have been plagued by harmful algal blooms. We drink that water - and our economy relies on lake access. Ian will work to ensure our lakes are clean and safe for our drinking water and recreation.

AI DATA CENTERS

AI companies want to build massive data centers in our district. This is an untested technology with potentially massive impacts on jobs and quality of life. Ian supports the current one-year moratorium on AI data centers in New York, but thinks we need to go further. AI data centers cause higher utility rates and pollute water and air quality, and they have no place in our communities.
